On September 15, 2021, the Hoa Binh 2 wind power plant project saw a significant milestone with the successful energization of its 110kV transformer station and connection line. This achievement in Vinh Thinh commune, Hoa Binh district, Bac Lieu province, was made possible through the collaborative efforts of Phuong Anh Construction Investment and Trading Company Limited and Power Construction Joint Stock Company 1 (PCC1), serving as the EPC general contractors, with Electrical Construction Company Limited 1 – My Dinh overseeing the construction management.
The energization of the 110kV transformer station and connection line at Hoa Binh 2 wind power plant marks a significant milestone for PCC1, aligning with the Investor’s schedule for power generation and COD trials. The plant’s 13 turbines, totaling a 50 MW capacity, are set to deliver approximately 207 million kWh annually. This project not only bolsters the power supply and energy security but also promotes clean energy usage, reducing environmental impact. Moreover, it integrates agricultural, aquacultural, and forestry practices, fostering local socio-economic growth. Despite the challenges posed by the recent epidemic and social distancing directives, PCC1’s dedicated team has successfully navigated these obstacles, demonstrating their commitment to customer service. This achievement represents the 12th of nearly 20 EPC contracts for wind power connectivity completed by September 2021.
