The Phuoc Thai 1 solar power facility spans 65 hectares and represents an investment of 1,113 billion VND. It features polycrystalline solar panels and central inverters for energy conversion. Additionally, the initiative has led to the establishment of a 220kV transformer station at Phuoc Thai, equipped with two 125MVA transformers and a 2.3 km 220kV transmission line. This line includes a connection to the dual 220kV Vinh Tan – Thap Cham line, now known as the BIM – Thap Cham line. The project further encompasses auxiliary constructions, control systems, and remote monitoring stations for comprehensive management.
The initiative was launched to enhance power generation capacity and address the growing energy needs of the Central and Southern regions. It aims to bolster the proportion of renewable energy, curtail carbon emissions, and support the nation’s socio-economic progress through a stable electricity supply.

PC1’s role in this endeavor encompasses a range of services, from legal and technical design to procurement, and from construction to commissioning, ensuring the power plant’s successful deployment and operation.
